Value Realization from Cloud

The initial proposition of the cloud stemmed from its dual benefits of resilience, scalability, and cost-effectiveness, alongside its ability to accelerate innovation. At the time, the economic advantages of cloud adoption were highlighted from various perspectives. However, the reality has proven to be quite different. Costs have soared beyond expectations, cloud security concerns have amplified, trust has waned, proving ROI has become a challenge, and innovation, while present, has been sporadic. This is partly attributed to the absence of the required cultural shift and partly a result of a misalignment between the sold proposition and its delivery.
